Cerekote for shotgun

I want to get my benelli sbe 2 done in mossy oak greenleaf. Can it be done and who can do it. I am waiting until after season. Also if anyone has a gun done in this pattern , could you post pics. Thanks

Cerakote doesn't come in patterns. It basically comes in colors. Simple patterns can be achieved, but it is rather involved. Also it is designed for applying to metal, not wood or plastic found in stocks.

If you want Greenleaf camo pattern, consider having it hydrographically dipped.

I have never had one cerekoted but did have one duracoted and it was a mistake. I took it to a certified coater and when I got my gun back it had rust inside the barrel and mag tube. It was only a cheap mossberg 500 but within a couple weeks of duck hunting it was rusting all around the rib. I will never have a gun coated with any product like that as I had painted it rattle can style a couple years before and never had a problem with rust. I recommend that you think of having it hydro dipped also. But it will rub off on any sharp edge.

Cerakote is some really amazing stuff.  It will hold up well.  You could consider having all the metal surfaces cerakoted and the stock and forearm dipped in Green Leaf.  I have seen a few done like that and they look really good.
