I haven't had a chance to go but one time. I only heard one gobble 3 times. They haven't got fired up yet around here.

The birds here in the central part of the state are getting really cranked up. Friday I heard nothing all day. Saturday in the same location I heard approximately 175 gobbles from 3 different loudmouths. They are still plagued with hens, but that will change shortly.

It's good down here in the south west part for me but they are getting cranked up now. As far as being quite for me there is turkeys to kill  and you can't type on here and shoot at the same time. Good luck to all this season

I hunted hard Tues - Fri & on Sun...I heard one...ONE, friggin gobble...the birds I found during scouting have disappeared. But hey, things have got to get better!!!

The season opens up around my house this Friday. Unfortunately, I'm working 6 days a week now, so only Sunday morning hunting for me. I hope to get one before the season goes out.
