For the last few weeks I've been made fun of you could say laughed at even. I've been kicked while I'm down and lead on by every single bird I've heard since I killed one opening morning. It has been brutal I have had a hard time even hearing one much less getting one to work. Those days where you don't hear a peep are the toughest. On top of that I'm dog tired with work and spending a day in the woods that lasts from 6 am to sometimes 7 pm without a break is enough to go insane. It's crazy what a guy will do to shoot a bird. Today just made me mad though I was trying to work a bird and had a long beard come in silent and out of no where he boogers and I can't get a shot off. It was like he was just rubbing it in my face. This year has been the toughest ever but I won't go down without a fight! Score is turkeys 50 me 1

Perhaps we didnt have bullies when I was young? Oh NO, yes we did! The difference between then and now is that back then, if dealing with a bully, you found a way to resolve the issue. Nowdays its all butterflies and lollipops, our children are taught that if they cry and whine enough that they dont have to do anything they dont want to, solve any problems, etc.... I just dont know what the next 40 years will bring as far as where we are going as a society.

Same here from lower middle TN...called 3 up this season, and two were for friends learning to hunt. I got mine and one assist but it's not been a normal season. They seemed behind for so long....and then they skipped normal and went straight to done it seems. Still hammering away at them though, never know when you'll catch the right bird at the right time...keep at it man.
