I know you are gonna get back out there and try again...  I was on a hunt a couple of weeks ago where the guy with me shot one and we couldn't find him.  There's really not much of a worse feeling than losing one...  He ended getting redemption the very next morning!  I am hoping the same for you!  Good Luck!
