Florida Youth Season

I got to hang out this weekend at Osceola Outdoors in Lakeport, FL where Samantha Simonton was hosted with hopes of getting her first bird.  Everyone involved was friends with the late gun writer/tv host J. Guthrie.  We got lucky this morning and she killed a fine three year old.  She wore Guthrie's cap for good luck and I surprised her with Guthrie's turkey gun to shoot.  Let the season begin!

I had to postpone my trip to Florida and to Osceola Outdoors until the spring of 2015.  Super disappointed, but family comes first.
