I'm with CASH, if those don't bite you your fine
. One question I have is "why" a 4X on a turkey gun? Just curious, not knocking. Wish I could dial mine up a bit to see what's out there on occasion.

I have my scope AS FAR forward as it will go. I have not been cut but it's touched my eye brow. I like the scope for that good look at a distant bird. I hunt a lot of public and I'm still a newbie. I have not had encounters with birds at short distances to justify ditching the scope.

Just remember that the further left (assuming you shoot right handed) your shot is, the closer the scope is to your face and the less your shoulder will stop the rearward movement of the gun. Be careful.
