Came across a Mad Max Super MD-1018 today for My X2 28".

Anyone have load suggestions?
Anyone know who made it?
Any problems?
Thanks

That's actually a MAD Super Max.  Indian Creek made those chokes.  They shoot very well.  I got one for my 870 that shoots right with my Ventilator.  I have done 297 in the 10" with Hevi-13 3" 2oz #7's at a taped 40yds.

Ok mad super max.
Indian creek, that's interesting.
Only 297 with a 3" 7    ;)  Was that with any current made hevi?
Looks like this used to be high dollar.

That was with the older stuff.

I'll show you the 10" and 20".

The backside will show you more in detail just how dense that pattern truly is.

Here's a link to it so you can view all of it here.

I hear ya.  I hope they do.

I bought mine off of gunbroker for like $28 shipped.  You can see how much it used to be.

I think these chokes work better in the 28" barrel 870 or 11/87.  That .675 diameter is just about idea for them.

With an 870 lead shot #5 I would go with a .665 choke.  For #6 shot I would go with a 660.  Just my opinion I have 2 that shoot really well with them.  I believe #5 shot is .660 to .670
