finally shot some 3.5" longbeard 6

My buddy bought some 3.5" long beard #6 and we hit the range to try it out.  He shot an 870 with 660 JH and I shot my 835/675 Sumtoy combo with 20" bbl.

First, I'm gonna say this stuff is bad.  Hevi can move over.

The 870/660 went 252/142 with a total shot count of 475
The 835/675 went 253/152 with a total shot count of 467

I have pics but not sure how to post them.  I sent them to Sumtoy, maybe he will post them up

Haha...no...I never shoot 30 yards.  This was verified by 2 different range finders today and I sat with my bbl on the 40 yd line.

Wow those are some crazy numbers. Going to have to pick some up to see what they can do. I will say that I was very impressed with the thugs last year and it will take a lot to get me to switch from them....

All of there numbers are correct at 40 yards I am a witness since I was the 870 and jellyhead trigger puller. This is the best lead turkey load I've ever seen on paper Winchester has set the bar for Lead and Hevi shot better watch out BC this Longbeard XR is gonna be #1 by hunters this season in my opinion.

I'll bet they were pricing the old Winchester "Xtended" load (those were 42.00-45.00 per box).  The new long beard XR load is only around 18-19 in 3" and 22-24 for 3.5".

Well I would hate to see a 20yd pattern from those shells. 

That's incredible. 

I know this fountain guy.  And I know he tells the truth.  At least he never has given me any reason to doubt him.

I'm gonna have to try a box of those 3.5" #6's.
