I just got a 350 acre lease bordering a WMA. The deer hunters have turkeys on cameras(one a white turkey). They do not turkey hunt. The timber company came in a took out alot timber this past fall 2010. Lots of sand washes and sand turn rows. They have a good bottom they are seeing most the turkeys in. I have access all to myself!!! With turkey hunting starting in 2 weeks,  I guess this yr. planting a food plot is out of the question. What can I do for this 2011 hunting season to attract turkeys? OR do I just lick my wounds this yr. and start planting or next yr?

gatortrax35,

Brown-top millet.  You can get planting instructions from your County Agent or the store you got the seed from.
