Browning silver choke?

Well I just got a 3.5" silver with 26" barrel. Just wondering what's a good choke for lead 6. I have a stock pile of it and would like to use them. They pattern great in my other guns but I shoot .655 in my rem and Benelli with the 6. Thanks.

The Browning engineers recommend their Full Strut turkey choke with an exit diameter of .640 for your gun with the Invector+ barrel. It works well with #6 lead or Hevi-13 shells with #6 shot.

I know that sounds tight in a .742 bore but we routinely shoot chokes with a .670 or .675 exit diameter in the Mossberg with a .775 bore. It's the same  .100 or thereabouts of constriction. It works.

I'd recommend a Kick's or Jellyhead .670 or even an Indian Creek .665 for that load.

Thanks guys. I tried my buddy's kicks .670. It is ok but not tight enough for me at 40. Might try the full strut that Clark mentioned. Any others?

Try the Indian Creek .665 if you want a tighter pattern at 40 yards than the Kick's .670 gave you.

A Wright's #3 is another excellent choice. It has a .650 e.d. with 1.3" of parallel, non-ported and with a crowned muzzle. It's made from ETD-150PH and is rated for all lead and tungsten based shot. It's another excellent choice.

A Comp N Choke in .650 is another good one. It was always a winner with #6 lead shot.

Another new choke that is excellent is the JEB's, again in .650.

With our choke 675 to 680. 

Trulock has a choke also but don't know how it works. 

Now the IC most folks run 665 and the PG 670 I think.  This is HV13 stuff.

also Clark would u go with comp n choke over kicks in same constriction? I know they are same company.

They are under common ownership, Charlie and Chuck Boswell but the designs differ. I have always preferred the Comp N Choke and have had better results with them but they are both fine products.
