OH NO!!! What would you guys do?

Man ol man guys Ive got a bass tournament opening day of the georgia turkey season. I live 30 miles from florida if you know what i mean. What would you guys do. Would you wait it out or head for the florida line for some public land hunting.

It depends on how good of a bass fisherman you are.  If you can place in the money, I say fish, you have to support your turkey hunting some how.

I would hunt. That close to florida I would think fishing is good most of the year.

Yeah i hear you guys. I already know how this story ends text after text call after call from the guys saying how hot the birds were while i'm fishing. I do very much enjoy my bass fishing but it's more of the obligation to my fishing partner than anything else. Weigh in is at 3 so I may just hunt that evening. I just wonder how I'm going to concentrate on my fishing when birds are framming in the river bottom and guns are going off.First opening day I'll miss in well since 99.

With gas prices like they are now, placing in the money might break you even. assuming it is a club tourney

Hard to get an unbiased answer on this forum with that question.  

Probably get a different answer on a bass fishing forum.

I say hunt!!!!  I can fish the other 11 months of the year.
