After this long winter the turkey itch is setting in hard.  The birds I've seen in southern Ontario seem to have made it through ok but only time will tell.  Saw 4 toms just off the road a couple days ago.  All had ice balls hanging from their beards which looked shorter than they should have been. Whats everyone else seeing?  Cant wait to get scouting once this snow and water disappears.

Seeing flocks in the Cayuga area with some nice Toms present.  As you said time will tell

Have been out to a couple of the properties I hunt to look things over but we had so much snow this past winter there is still anywhere from 2 to 3 feet in the bush and no sign of the birds. The birds have not even started to disperse from their wintering areas yet and we are only just over 3 weeks away.

Was out this weekend and it still seems like they haven't broken up very good yet, lots of toms still grouped together. Seems like birds did quite well this winter in spite of all the snow we had at least in the norfolk county area anyways.
