Limit of Louisiana Turkeys..The longbeard was taken opening day (3/23) with my Remington 870 SM in bottomland camo with a Jellyhead .665 choke and 3.5in Magnum Blends at 40 yards. The jake was taken Tuesday (4/16) with my 1965 Browning Belgium A5 2 3/4 full choke shooting Remington Duplex 4x6 shells at 15 yards.

The Jake was a public land bird that came in quite. Very call shy after a month of heavy hunting!

Genesis 27:3 - Now then, get your weapons—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
