If a Jake gobbles and struts would you kill him?

I have been laying here awake thinking about this one. At one time no question yes. Now I see him as next years two year old and we all know how much fun they are.  I did have one last year stand about a foot from me and gobble his head off, for a brief moment I  thought about  going kung fu on him
but I knew I would lose and it wasn't the right thing to do to the bird.
But would you shoot ? He's doing it all right now .

I let several Jakes walk last spring now they are all long beards  ready for action I hope to get atleast
