Where's the perfect place for a turkey hunter to live?

I hunt in the north east.. NY, NJ, Pa.   I would say N.Y is definitely my favorite. They have a 2 bird limit.

I'm happy right here in Savannah, GA. Right on he border of SC. 8 legal spring turkey if legal in both states. Freshwater rivers on the north and south and bordered by salt on the other side. Long deer season too. Got hunting and fishing, and weather like Florida.

Well i have hunted 11 states over the years and by far the best areas of the country with liberal limits are: 1. TN/AL/Ga where they come together
      2.  KS/MO/NE area next. 
I would have included TX/OK but with a longe 3+ year drought and hog issues, their populations are way down!!!  Plus, nothing as good as Easterns in hardwood timber!!!

Right here in south west Virginia. 100's of thousands of acres of public land within 2hr drive. 5 min from NC, which has an all day season unlike VA, except for last 2 weeks. 2hrs from SC,TN, West VA. 4hrs from GA,OH. 8 hrs from NJ,PA,AL, and FL.

I agree with Mudhen. I live in Kansas City. I can hunt two states in one day. I have Easterns all around me and Rio's 4 hours away. I can drive up to Nebraska and SD easily. Plus the Easterns around here are huge! An average two-year old tom is around 21 pounds. They go up from there!

The Texas Hill Country is beautiful, full of turkeys and other game and has a four bird limit.
Too bad there's pretty much NO public land to hunt there...
