Just got some new private land to hunt. Full of birds and deer season should be easy as apple pie. The property has never been hunted. Can't wait for spring!

Man its so wild the two of you guys live so close to all my Dads people. Its been almost 20 years since Ive been back to Califonia, Christmas of '93. I can remember the jack rabbits, black tails, and Rios all over the hills like it was yesterday. We were in lake Berissa one morning and had a flock of turkeys down in a cove 50 yards from the boat.

I remember seeing some elk somewhere close by yall. I want to say they were called Roosevelt elk or something like that. And you guys have some MONSTER slugs. They would be all over my grandmas lemon trees.

Not far from Lake Berryessa is some Tule elk. I hunted a WMA real close to there and yes we all killed turkeys opening weekend. Berryessa is loaded with turkeys now. You need to come visit one of these days Del.

I plan to do just that in a few years.

May have to kill a turkey in the morning  and then go hit a Giants or As game in the afternoon. Reddick from the A's is from the little town I live in now. He may be kin to my wife. She has first cousins named Reddick....a bunch of them all from this same county. I need to find out.
