Here is my entry for the 2013 MN NWTF Call Making Competition coming up this January. Made from select Arizona Desert Ironwood Burl with Pre-Ban period Elephant Ivory mouthpiece and a rubber lipstop. She is going into the hunting division of turned trumpet calls. My first Arkansas Toothpick entered into a contest. wish me luck, pappy

that is a beauty,do you have any sound files for your trumpets?

sorry I don't, there are some guys on here who have played them and knew how to put them on sound files, you'd have to find those to hear them. I just do know how to put pics on, even though I can't get them any bigger then they are.

No fancy stand with 80 coats of lacquer this year? Hopefully they find enough judges that can play a trumpet this year. I'm not sure I'll be entering after last year, and it's my home state.

Believe this is what Chris is talking about the stand......I made these when we were dealing with Dororthy's cancer right before she passed on....so I wasn't into them too much, just entered to keep active in the contests.....
