The factory choke works well in my 835.  If you don't pattern your gun you'll be disappointed with whatever choke you choose.  I don't have any problems up to 50yds. with factory Win. 3.5" loads, but I wouldn't normally take that long of a shot.  Most of my shots are under 25yds.  Good luck!

Sadly when we
crashed the deep cleaning post disappeared. Use a rod guide , a 20 ga shell inside a 12 ga 3.5 inch shell, I used a  brass brush dipped in hoppes 9, on a drill make 25 passed and redip the brush for a total of 125 passes you will get about 10 patches of black gunk . IMHO Mossberg barrels are a bit rough from the factory and come coated in a thick rust preservative. You will get much better patterns if the barrel is clean. A polishing and a burnishing will really optimize your Moss.
