What choke tube/ammo recommendation would yall make for a Benelli M1 3" 20gauge with a 26" barrell ?  Also for a Remington 870 20 ga. 3" with a 26" barrell.  Thanks

For the 870, Federal Heavy Weights #7 with a Remington Super Full choke .570 from Midwest Guns for $9.99 has been doing great from what I've seen on here and my short range time with it.

870 Rem 26" barrel using Hevi-13 #7s most chokes in the 560-565 range are going to be very acceptable and 570 not that bad either. The newer H-13 in 5 /box #6s are getting good reviews in the 570 choke. I concern myself with what these patterns look like at 30-35 yards more so than 40 since I rarely shoot that far even with the 12 gauge.

If you use lead only then a 560s range and Win XX #6s or Federal FC #6s and then #5s would do well for the 30 yard and under range especially.

Good Luck

Same question for the Benelli M1 90 will  be using Nitro 3" #7 hevishot
I'm trying to decide between IC and PG tubes

Go with the PG 570, the 555 will most likely put up a lil bit better numbers but boy is it tight inside 30

using a Carlson .575 in my 870 20ga youth model with Federal HW #7's
it's not the harvest,it's the chase

Anyone ever try the SSX 20 ga. tube in either one of these guns?

The SSX is unavailible for Benellis in 20ga. They are only made for the Rem choke threads. A friend has a Benelli Nova and has great patterns with the Carlsons 575 non-ported and Fed #7 HW.
