After Saturday being covered up in hens and Ol Blabber Mouth hollerin for 6 straight hours I was surprised yesterday when it was quiet as church. Figgered they must have roosted elsewhere. This morning Blabber Mouth sounded off across the road on the other side of the neighboring farm. Had to be him cause he never shut up.Finally spotted him all alone in the corn stubble about 1/4 mile from my set up. I'm high on a hill where I can see across the swamps and cornfields. He had no desire to cross the drainage ditch no matter what. Hopefully they will bed down on my side again on Wednesday night. Thursday morning may be his last.

Unfortunately I'm hemmed in by private property that I cant go on and swamps with 2 feet of water. Most of the farm I hunt is corn stubble. My movement is really limited.I have to get in well before daylight and sneak out when its time to leave.

Stick with it.

It makes it that much sweeter in the end.
