Okay this is out there but I need to ask.  I have to drive a distance to hunt and with gas, really do not want to drive home if I am dragging.  To me getting a bird is important, but if I am dead tired from work and hunting, I do not hunt the best.  So, how do you get comfortable in the woods so you can take a good power nap?

Find a nice big tree on a good flat piece of ground use your vest as a pillow and go to sleep :toothy12: been there done that lol. If your really tired it's a heck of a good nap

I grind it out while the weather is favorable trying to kill and guide as many legally allowed.  When the weather gets crappy I sleep and sometimes, I play hookie from work when I know I need to be in the woods so I can sleep in the afternoons to recharge.

You can sleep when you're dead and when it isn't turkey season!

Very true but take caution. Two years ago I had a chair similar to this and was using it in my blind. I remember looking at my watch at 10:30 and then waking up at 1:10. The season ended each day at noon. I am glad I didn't have to explain this to a Game Warden. Now I don't use extremely comfy chairs in my blind...
