Just got off of the phone with Joe Slaton. He killed a monster this morning in MO. 24 lbs, 11" THICK beard, 1-3/4" spurs. When he stepped on its neck it spurred him through his boot and sock and cut his ankle! Get on the train boys, we are going to let em have it. Stay positive if you have not killed one. The best and most successful hunters I have spent time with always believe the next call will be the one that strikes up big boy. A positive attitude will kill more turkeys than any other weapon, except great hunting ground of course.
