Ordered a Ventilator choke for 12.00 plus shipping brand new..  Couldnt pass it up. The 870SM is getting polished at the gunsmith. The choke came in the mail and it says Extra Full Lead.  I am wondering if all Ventilator chokes are .655.  I have no way of measuring it but it looks the same diameter as a Kicks .655 that i have. Im fired up to run some Hevi 7's through it.  Think im gonna try the 3/2/7's first and see how it does before i go to the 3.5/2.25/7's.  Ive heard folks have had some good success on this website with this combo.  How do the lead patterns with 6's look out of this combo? Hevi 3/2/6's?

* JH .665 in this combo shot really inconsistent and POA/POI was way to the left.  Great lead pattern with HV 6's and the next shot would be a sub par pattern.  The Hevi 6's shot really tight patterns in the middle but uneven, inconsistent patterns. Not happy with any of the loads i ran through the JH .665.

just seen a pattern I shot a couple of years ago with that combo, 870SM 23" Vent .655 Win HV 3.5" 2oz. #6.  It was 118/10/40. That is the highest count lead load I have ever shot.

A note on the Jellyheads. I have .665 and .660 12 ga and 570 20 ga and they are not worth a hill of beans. I have never had a good pattern out of a JH.

The 660 belongs to my brother. It did not like te old lots very well although everyone else seemed to have very good patterns with it. I still need to try it with the new H13 to see if there is an improvement.

Where did you get the Ventilator for $12 if you don't mind saying? I'm going to try one with some lead.
