835 pattern?

I have a new 835 20" barrel and have tried patternmaster and jh chokes with all different hevi loads. Polished the barrel and everything. Just not impressed with the patterns. Any suggestions?

Different shells, try more chokes until you find what the gun likes.

Those short barrels can present a challenge. The best results that I've seen and had reported from my readers with those guns have been with the SSX http://allaboutshooting.com/product_info.php?cPath=69&products_id=75 and a "deep cleaned" barrel http://allaboutshooting.com/article_info.php?articles_id=282 with 3" Hevi-13 "Bronze" shells with 2 oz. of #6 shot.

SumToy 675,  PG 670,  IC ask size  or if you find old star dot.    Then get you some HV 6 or 7.   The Fed FCW works good also.

I've tried win extended range 3 1/2 in 5 and 6 shot. Also 3 1/2 hevi shot in 5, 6, 7. Also tried an ic choke with no luck.
