Do you feel that a long box is any more effective than a standard short box?

Yes, they are superior to short boxes at calling in turkeys.

In the right hands I don't think theres any difference in their effectiveness.   I prefer a short box just because of the size.  But I also rode the short bus to school, so what do I know!
If I'm not back in five minutes, wait longer!

Used plain AP long box went for $206 on Flea-Bay today  ;D

I might just have to order more from Mr. Paul....
