To all you turkey killers out there. I'm just curious to know if I'm the only turkey hunter who shoots a 935 with a .695 xfull choke (valued at $18 at time of purchase, bout 10 yrs ago) and have had excellent success with that combo since purchasing the 935 in 2005. Oh yeah the choke is flush fitting, something that is rare to hear about nowadays.       Thanks and good luck this upcoming season

:wagon:...    If your successful and like it, that's great!  :icon_thumright:  A lot of the members like optimum performance out of there turkey rigs. Or you can say we like to tinker with our toy's. When I first started years ago we'd put a paper pie plate 25 yards out, take a pop at it and say that's good enough. I guess you can say the times have changed. :z-guntootsmiley: We like to shoot..
There is great info on the cite you can do a search on your gun/choke and the ammo it shoots. One thing I definitely learned here is there are great people always willing to help and how to get great performance out of my rig.

Oh yeah the choke screws all the way down flush in the barrell. Any responses would be appreciated.       Thanks and good luck this upcoming season

I have a number of flush-fit chokes for my Mossberg over-bored shotguns ranging from improved cylinder to extra-full.

I have used some of them in my 935 for evaluating some home defense loads and I've shot a number of 2.75" shells through my gun with the modified choke for clays, etc.

I've used more specialized chokes for turkeys however.

I'd add that if it works for you, that's great and there's really no need to change anything.

Best of luck to this year.

Thanks,
Clark

:TooFunny:   That and those Ext. Range 5's you shoot! I've seen the evidence.

I still have a .710 flush fitting tube that I use with my 835 sometimes,it throws some great patterns with lead

Flush mounted Ulti-mag chokes in the 835 and 935 are just about as long as extended tubes from other choke systems, so I wouldn't be too surprised if they worked just fine.
