Not a star dot or Pittman. Not ported all the way around? Colonial arms? Can someone help with identifying this choke?

TrkyHntr

Either a star dot or a colonial arms choke.

That's what I was thinking

ILIKEHEVI-13

It isn't a Star Dot.  Star dots had 2 rows of ports.

Looks like either a Preston Pittman tube or a Hi-Viz tube.

I think the picture quality is blocking out the other row of ports

I think that you are exactly correct.

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.

Nope.  Look at my Star Dot.  No matter how you turn it the poted holes are close enoiugh together that your always going to see 2 rolls of ports or 2 holes or 3.

And to the best of my knowledge even the Preston Pittman chokes that were the same choke as a Star Dot had 2 rolls of ports.  The only thing different that I know of on the Star Dot chokes was at the top of the chokes.  One was knurled, and the other had cut-out straight grooves.  I know because I had both Star Dots like this.

Well we'll see its on it's way to my house! :)

Ok so the ports don't go all the way around? Any ideas.
