@ Ross . I was just a few feet away from this Tom . I was standing in a creek bed . The creek bank came up to my chest , and the two toms ( there was one to the right out of frame) were on the edge . I wish I was smart enough to have videoed the show they put on that day .Oh well ,got a bunch of stills ..... more on my "Flickr"

I don't use flash on wildlife much. It runs them off , and you only get one or two shots... so they better be good-ones !....Flash does make for better quality tho ! but also need a "Better beammer"
I am planning to set-up a studio flash , and getting some Humming birds shots this year.....but that will be in the backyard , and not in the woods .
