No, if you post 5 times in a row, then you will only see your post count go up by 5, not with each one.  I think.  It shows the most recent count.  So, in the example your count would go from 27 to 32.

I might be way off.  It might only update at midnight or something too.  No big deal, just keep posting.

2829 with previous post.  2830 with this one.  So it works, even on the previous post you still see 2830, it is always current
