Turkey Populations are definitely  getting better in North New Jersey.  I saw plenty of Jakes last Spring in Sussex  County.
Brutal Winter- but let's  see how many vocal 2 year old Gobblers are Ambling about come opener of April 20th/ 2026.

Fingers crossed for this one my OG brother. It's been a while since I've been up that way.

Southern zones sure aren't what they were. I, myself have been covered up w/jakes the last couple of seasons. There have been long scouting missions every season. Keeping away from the other hunters and finding the birds is getting more difficult every season.

Good luck this season.
