Looking into buying a pair of crispi boots unfortunately we do not have anywhere local that I can try some on. Im looking at the lapponia 3 or the summit 2s. Does anyone have either? Im hunting in eastern NC so pretty flat ground im a little worried the summits will be too stiff.

I can't help you with either of those models. I do have a pair of Colorado II's and they are a 4 out of 5 stiffness on Crispi's rating scale. I'm 6'4" and 200lbs with a size 13 foot and I don't find them to be too stiff but they took a few miles to get comfortable.

I have the Colorado and the Lapponia III and love both of them tbh. The Colorado are for sure more stiff then the Lapponia. I use the Colorado more on days Im doing a lot of walking and/or walking through a bunch of thick stuff because the stiffness actually helps reduce the impact on my feet and ankles for those days and the material isnt leather on them so the thick stuff doesnt scratch up my boots. The Lapponia are more comfortable for day to day use, flat ground lighter walking days.  Thats just what I do I could wear either for most days and be totally happy.

looks like the summit are a flex of 3 so they would be less stiff then the colorado.  I would say either of your options would work great for you, just decide if you want leather or synthetic material.  Synthetic doesnt show wear as easy if your going though tons of brush etc, however it does hold water more when wet and will get an odor if they stay wet for a while.  Leather will show lots of scratches but is more waterproof exterior, wont hold water as much, and you can add wax to it as a softening agent and waterproof agent.

Summit is stiff but not crazy stiff.  Order fri crispi and if you need to return for the other model then your able.

Summits are awesome. I should add I also have the wild rock, Kennetrek  and Zamberlan boots. They all offer good ankle support. The summits beat them all as far as support and comfort. I also dont sweat at all in them. Id def recommend the summits

Have 4 pr that I wear when chasing Sept bulls. Not much ankle support from the Lapponia. My go to is the GTX Idaho.

I have the lapponia lites and have hunted them for one season. I like them so far. They are definitely light and have good tread. They are stiff but a good stiff it that makes any sense. I live and hunt in southern Maryland about as far south as you can go until you would cross the river in to Virginia and we have pretty much the same terrain as you do in eastern nc. They worked well with gaiters as well.

I have the Briksdal and Wild rocks and really like them for mountain hunting.

Hey Ben, I have both of them. You just can't beat the Crispi's in my opinion. I got my 1st pair almost exactly one year ago to date. I wore them every day for 75 days turkey seasons without a single issue.  I wear Nevada's every day.

i hunt eastern NC as well and have bad feet and need more ankle support than most. have gtx and new upland model. love both of them. found that they are true to size. expensive investment but fell they are worth it.

I have a pair of the summits and I love them. I would say they have some stiffness to them but it's nothing crazy. I live in southcentral PA so I hunt both fields/flat land and mountains and I've never had an issue with them
