I know a lot of you have collections of calls so this may be a hard question to answer.

Just being practical, how many calls would you have to rotate in and out of the vest?

How many pot calls and what surfaces?

How many box calls and what wood combos?

What other types of calls?

Very little rotation; I'm satisfied with what I carry.  My decision is which caller I will employ and how I will employ it, which is greatly situational.

I carry 2 slates, 1 glass and rotate in a ceramic or titanium pot. 1 scratch box and a yelper or box call depending on what trips my trigger and sometimes a tube call.

I'm a box guy so I'll usually have two boxes with at least one being a longbox. I'll carry a pot or two as well. In the past it's been a slate and or crystal but I'll take Busters red slate/persimmon and old hen this year. Sometimes I'll also grab a peg and slate or scratch box too.

Weather plays a part in the calls I carry... Humidity, cold, rain and wind all dictate what's calls are in my rotation / satchel for opening day ... I always try to bring a different sound to the table / woods each year. This could be a trumpet. pot call and different style boxes along with gobbler sounds / yelper type calls ..
