Does anyone here make any turkey trumpet lanyards? Just got a new trumpet and need a lanyard. Thanks!

Check out the Trumpets/Wingbones board, I am pretty sure there was a post on some the other day.

Sbbow .  Recently bought one.  Many colors to choose from. Happy customer

I made a post like this the other day looking for a double drop to carry a trumpet and tube. Decided to go with sbbow from everyone's recommendation and he was excellent to work with. Lots of options, is communicative, and will customize it however you'd like. Mine is on the way to me in the mail now!

I made my own using camo paracord -- it took two clove hitch knots to get it to stay in place (it could have been a different knot, I used trial and error to find which would really hold in place) -- used one lanyard bead there ---- then I used cobra knots going down the lanyard -- and ended with another lanyard bead --- It wasn't elite level, but I thought it was great.    My four year-old granddaughter saw me making it, wanted to know what I was doing, so the end result, then she wanted one for the zipper pull on her backpack.

If try it, use way more rope than what you think you need for making your first.  Cobra knots take up a lot of rope.  Also, you may want more wiggle room at the top.  You can always recut/reburn, you can't add to it and it still look good, to me.

Another vote for Steve. He made one for me a couple weeks ago and it is very well made.
