Has anyone got to try out the Rolling Thunder trumpet call?  or any "store bought" call.  I've always been a Pittman calls fan but never pulled the trigger on his yelper.  I've heard the old Penn Woods yelpers were good sounding calls.

I have the Rolling Thunder trumpet call, and it plays well for me. Ricky Padgett has a great design, and they nailed it with this call. It is acrylic with a Delrin mouthpiece. I can get the rasp out of this call just like I can the others I have from him.

I like the KT Team (Prudhomme) trumpet. Plays fairly easily for me. Haven't tried the Rolling Thunder (Padgett) yet.

Nothing against the Rolling Thunder $200 or KT Team $249 two trumpets I almost bought.I was able to buy some big name new/used calls for 150$-210$ hand turned stuff that's really great so after the fact not sure why I would spend that kinda money on a CNC mass production call unless it was just proven magic.
