Rare Darrin Dawkins Checkered Box Call

Rare early Darrin Dawkins checkered box call.  Made in November 2003.  Walnut base and lid from Illinois.  Yellow Poplar body from South Carolina.  Done in Neil Cost old hen pattern.  Great wood combination.  It is hard to find checkered Dawkins calls; all new calls are smooth lid and body.  This is one of the calls that made his reputation as a great call maker.  $350 shipped.
