Latex free mouth calls

Anyone know where I could possibly find some mouth calls that are latex free? I've not had much luck googling, and I've talked to a few different people I know that make calls and they weren't any help either. It seems I've developed a latex allergy about 4 years ago and since then I've used nothing but my pot calls, which works, but there is situations I'd love to have been able to give a call here and there and stay down on the gun.

Try Mountain Hollow Game Calls. They make a yellow three reed .003 Prophylactic with Ghost Cut.

I may be wrong, but I think that a prophylactic reed call may still contains some content of Latex within its formula unless it is specifically identified as being "Latex Free" so be careful.  I know the Prophylactic reeds that I have are NOT Latex Free.  I wish I had better information for you, good luck.

Correct. Before ordering calls from anybody, I would advise asking if they are certain that the materials they use for making calls is not partially latex-based. It could be that going the proph route, and hoping it does not set off a reaction, is your only option as I have not heard of anybody/company that is specifically making calls that don't have latex in the material mix. I'm not even sure there is a suitable product out there to be used as call reeds...and would be interested to hear if there is, as well.  :icon_thumright:

Natural voice, search Preston Pittman on utube.

They'd use their voice as first choice and walk away contented.

When I was a kid/teen I could natural voice call decent, but I sure can't anymore! Funny enough,  my 6 year old can yelp just like our hen turkeys in the yard and he gets them riled up about every day  :toothy12:

yep that's the problem I've run into, is most proph contains some latex. If I knew for sure what I needed, I'd entertain buying the supplies and trying my hand at building a few.

Honestly - If I was you, I would probably go old school and find some non-latex condoms, wash them, cut them up, press them flat, make turkey calls. Thickness should be roughly correct (I would buy ultra-thin if able) and those companies aren't going to risk someone having an allergic reaction so they should be completely latex free.
