I could see a $250.00 -$300.0 or so price tag for a bare vest but anything more than that is hype in my opinion.

Hey Happy, I know you're a strong guy and all, but aren't those vests a bit on the heavy side for comfortable field use? You know, for normal,  out of shape, middle aged guys? 😆

I bought a Dixon for $125.00 at Bass Pro when they first came out. I hunted it maybe two times. It was so heavy it wasn't funny. I put it in a box and forgot about it. Last year I saw all the buzz and sold it. If I died my wife would have no idea what it was. I bought a new gun with what I got for it. My lawyer buddy who is a gun nut will get her good money for the gun.

Compared to a "regular" vest, yes, they are on the heavy side. They also are probably not the best choice for warmer climates. I bought it because of how well it was made and I hopefully will be using it for many years to come. I am not easy on my equipment and a pound or three extra doesn't bother me. Heck, I keep a backup pump shotgun in my truck in case my semi auto decides to act up.

Tell you one thing it's a very good looking vest and I can tell it's well made👍
