CVA Turkey Spur .410 or Mossberg Silver Reserve Eventide 410

I'm in the market for a .410 Turkey gun for blind hunting and was looking at these two options. I see the new CVA Turkey Spur has a 22" barrel, I'm guessing for velocity and pattering. I know .410's are very picky so I'm wondering if anyone has shot either of these two guns. It would be nice to hit 200 in the 10" circle at 40. I have had the original Mossberg SA410 with the 26" barrel and the Tristar G2 Viper and wasn't happy with either gun. I killed turkeys with both guns but I'm looking for a gun that patterns alittle better. I have also had a Mossberg 500 410 which shot good but I didn't like the pump. The CVA seems to have a good trigger and it's built heavy duty and the Mossberg Eventide is light and short but there's not much information on either gun because there new. Love to hear other opinions!

Have you considered the Retay Gamelander in .410? Looks a lot like the CVA, but the Gamelander has that deep bore drilled barrel and lengthened forcing cone and a pretty good trigger. That 22" barrel should pattern about 15% better than the two guns you are talking about all else being equal. Has an adjustable length of pull stock and a adjustable cheek piece as well. Just a lot to offer for the .410 hunter for what they cost. You can also get it with some mossy oak bottomland on it from the factory.

The web site says the gun weighs over six pounds, but a man I know who has one weighed his and it weighed 5.8 pounds, so it is a lighter gun than the CVA Scout. I'm just guessing that the heavier website offered weight is for the 20 gauge in the same model, but don't quote me on that.
