Ok here is my question for all you seasoned TSS users, I recently set up two shotguns for this coming spring hunts, first a Stevens 301 20 gauge with an Indian Creek .562 choke, the second is my ole true 870 20-gauge, youth model with Indian Creek .570 choke that I swapped out both the stock and foregrip. With TSS being so damn expensive and having to sight in the red dots on both, my go to TSS has been Apex GT-20 #9's and usually I would sight in with dove shots and then finalize with TSS #9 the load I would hunt with.  I want to know, since I have a  few boxes of Apex TSS #7.5 will my PI shift greatly from 7.5 to 9's.  Obviously, though $16 per shot, I don't want to miss any opportunity for a down bird.

Unfortunatley, there's only one way to know for sure.......

In all likelihood one is going to hit the same as the other but...

I have shot their straight 9's, the 9/10 blend and 8.5s with no noticeable change in poi out of my gun and 8.5 and 9 with my wife's. If it's the same recipe. I can't imagine 1.5 shot size changing poi anything noticeable. But if you wanna keep that lil gremlin out ya mind just shoot one and confirm.

If it was me - I would pay a WHOLE lot more than $16 to know exactly where my shot is going when I pull the trigger...

thanks everyone who responded, I knew the answer and only wanted to have someone else tell me, don't be cheap when confidence in your gun doing what it supposed to do is everything.  I'll run the 7.5 to get me squared away and then put a 9 through for confirm.
