Regardless of the maker of the call...of which there are many good ones...one of the keys to getting the "best" sounds out of any call is matching the right striker with the call. For me personally, having one serviceable pot call (for me that is a slate-surface call) and a dozen different strikers available to match one of them to the call to get the best sound is more important than having several pots and only one or two strikers.
My advice is to focus not only on the call maker and surface type of the call, but also on getting a number of different striker types to run those calls with, including strikers made out of an assortment of different materials and tip types.
