There's an Alabama cackler for sale on EBay right now. It doesn't look like it is the original striker but does look in great condition. I'm from the area those are made and have seen some old timers around with one so I'd love to have one. The eBay guy told me he'd sell it to me for 150 bucks... yall know what it might be worth?

I can't say for fact if he's making any calls or not. I do know that when he posted them on ebay the Cackler call was calls he's put back a few years back which I believe that's how I got mine. In other words, he was selling new old stock.

I have a few of Billy whites calls , short box was $75 long box $125, alabama cackler was $150 back in the day.

I've tried to get in touch with Billy off and on the past few years and never could get in touch with him. I don't know if he's still making calls or not. He post stuff for sale on eBay some so it could be stuff he had laying around or he just builds calls as he feels like it. I have 2 Alabama cacklers, never felt like I could run them proficiently enough to hunt with them. I'd love to see a video and hear a sound file of someone who could run one well

I ended up getting one from someone on here and plan to try to kill a bird with it but I agree I would also love to hear someone play it really well. It's definitely different than running a normal slate
