if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land
Just a few short days ago I watched the video of that poor girl that was stabbed to death on a train in NC. First off, I felt so bad for her as I saw the fear and despair on her face as the event played out.Secondly, I watched as the suspect exits the train while 3 other people turned their heads away and refused to help this poor girl. How have things gotten so bad that your fellow humans refuse to do anything?! How can those people sleep at night knowing that they allowed that girl to die all alone?!!! I dont get it!
And then yesterday, with the assassination of Charlie Kirk. A Godly, Christian family man whose only crime was that he tried to debate the opposite side and get a healthy conversation flowing. He didnt advocate murder, riots or public discord. Again, I dont get it!!
In my opinion, the downfall of this country began many years ago with removing God from schools. And it progressed to making it lawful to murder unborn children, all because consenting adults who created life out of selfishness decide that they dont want the responsibility. And now you have a group that opposes EVERYTHING the conservative right stands for. The left advocates violence and anarchy if you do not bow down to their opinions. I have been in law enforcement for over 33 years, and I have seen the worst that mankind has to offer. And never in my 61 years on this earth did I think I would see a day where people feel it is ok to idly stand by while an active warfare is waged against morality and core beliefs that this country was founded upon.
As a police officer and former member of the USN, I have pledged my life to honor and protect this country, my family and total strangers. I have tried to live by Romans 13:4- for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. I try to teach that to every new recruit choosing this occupation.
Now is the time to earnestly pray for God to deliver this country out of the hands of Satan and send a revival across this country that shakes the world to its very core. As Christians, we are taught that vengeance belongs to God and to not take matters into our own hands. That is extremely hard for me to do, but I know what God is capable of.
