I hunt turkeys with a Browning Gold hunter classic that I bought way back in the early 90s. I am so use to to auto shell movement I would be handicapped if I actually had to push a button to move a shell. My gold hunter has most likely fired at least a couple thousand rounds and still works well. I have noticed every once in a while a spent round will hang up coming from the receiver. It's only the heavy turkey loads that do it, small game rounds work fine. I was thinking of sending it for a deep cleaning and refurbish at Altman's but didn't know if I wanted to spend the extra money. They done an older gun for me and it works like new.
