Got him to gobble by hooting off the deck last night well after sundown. He was fired up early this morning, way before I thought he should be gobbling. He was on the ground well before sunrise and seemed to be headed my way, but still 200 yards away. He first came into view strutting and gobbling at about 65 yards ahead and to the right. He worked his way along a small rise ending up hard right. He had cut the distance to where I knew he was close enough but needed to get him in an opening. As he entered one he stretched up and the SA-28 did it's job with the TSS 9's. 20.5 lbs, 9" beard and blunt 3/4" spurs, definitely a 2 year old.
