Worst thing Ohio ever did for the public land hunter was going to a Saturday opener.  The Monday opener spread the pressure. Saturday is now a zoo.

Boy Joey you spoke the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth. The weekend whiners got their way. It did not improve the season one bit. I will hunt with a guy renting our rental on his lease for a couple hrs then I will wait until Monday for my opening day. I might take a short hunt easter behind the house.

Good luck.  If they ever change the deer opener to Saturday after Thanksgiving it will look like a gun fight.
