Shane Simpson recently posted a how to video on coyote barking and howling on a turkey mouth call? Anyone else have experience doing this? Haven't had a chance to try yet.

I'm interested just to be able to add another locator type to the arsenal without having to get another call.

KLUK custom calls make a specific diaphragm that you can coyote howl on. I have it and can do it sometimes, I just need a little more practice. I bought it to use as a locator on my trip to Missouri.

It's still a normal turkey call though or just for coyote howl?

It's a predator diaphragm call

I've been doing it on many different cuts of mouth calls for years. It just takes practice and a little different air presentation. Same as crow calling on one

Any cut you recommend the most and what about reed count?

I'll have to look up crow calling on one.

ferocious calls

Practice with your voice.
A great locator is a Ferocious shock locator. It doesn't tell the turkey that a coyote is in the area.

Turkey, deer, crows and coyotes can all be mimicked by the human vocal system if practiced.

Never again be caught without a call.

Shock locators available here.
