Shooting 9 shot tss

Did yours like tight chokes?
This gun always shot hevi 13 with a .555

I have an Indian creek .555 to test but I'd like to try a .570 or .562

Which did yours prefer?

Waiting on weather to try the .555 looking for the others

I've also got a new 20 ga mossberg 500 to pattern this year.

Indian creek is sold out of the .555 currently. They do have the .562 and .570 available.

IC has been my go to choke for 12 ga, but for my model 940 there is only one constriction option. So I'm also curious what diameters have worked for people in this set up.

You are going to find him endlessly fascinating, occasionally easy, regularly difficult, and frequently impossible, but never dull. -Col. Tom Kelly

My Mossy Bantam 500 liked the IC .555 more than the .562. Either will hunt, but the .555 was a more dense core. Lots of pattern pics in the turkey gun section, most every conceivable combination of gun/choke/ammo has been tried and posted.
A quality paddle caller will most run itself.  It just needs someone to carry it around the woods. Yoder409

Sit down wrong, and you're beat. Jim Spencer                          Don't go this year where Youtubers went last year.

I went with a .575, most of my shots are under 30 yards. The .555 at 20 yards was to tight for my liking.

I've been getting a Mossberg 500 Bantom 20ga ready to try and the weather is starting to look pretty good so I'll chime in on the patterns when I've done some shooting. I'll be trying TSS #9's and LBXR #6's with .565 and .568 chokes and maybe a .575

I think I have a Carlson .568 in mine. It did right around 300 in the 10 at 40 yards if I remember right. I am sure it will kill every time at 40 and in as long as the shooter does their part.

Mine has no problem producing good numbers with a .570 Indian creek.
