Idk guys. I've def gone way to the prism scopes. They're superior in about every way except maybe fov but most are way more than acceptable.
That being said I'd never put that particular red dot on my gun. That mount system is horrendous and does not seem very bullet proof. One day we'll be reading of a guy bumped his gun and either it came fully off or at least moved enough to change poi.
Yea all optics can do that but it seems this one would be prone to it. No thanks on my end

RiverBuck

Has anyone bought this sight yet?
I was off the idea of getting one but keep coming back to it for a shotgun I just bought.
The reviews on Amazon aren't good but I'm not sure that's the best place to gauge real world feedback.

Outside Dog

I bought one and it should be delivered to my place today.  My plan is to use it on my SX3 20.  we've had a lot of rain here in Northern California, so it will be a while before the roads dry out on my lease and I can shoot it.  I will post up on my first impressions when I get it out of the box, and also post up once I shoot it.

Ridge Rooster

I just mounted one on my SBE. Had the barrel shortened to 22.5" and one extra hole tapped, as the factory drilled/tapped hole allowed 3 screws to work, but one was slightly covered. (2nd from barrel end and 3rd from butt stock). Vortex says that 2 screws are all that is necessary but while Gunsmith had my barrel I had him drill/tap me an extra hole to allow 4 screws. Dang thing seems bullet proof and I really like the solid cheek weld you get from the low profile.  I also like the fact that the emitter is enclosed.

I have yet to hunt with the optic as I just got barrel done but I have patterned a few choke/shell combo's and these sights will be purchased for any future guns that I may buy in the future.
