Hunter 22 and All About Shooting were a big part of the forum. They contributed lots so let's think about them this spring and shoot a bird in their memory.

Unfortunately, I did not have the pleasure of knowing Hunter22, but Clarke of All About Shooting was awesome. He would help anyone he could and was not seeking to make a buck. He was a great contributor to our sport and it's too bad we lost him at such a young age. We need more stand up guys like him for sure.

Never met Rickey.  But talked to him a couple times.  Traded a few calls.

There is a pair of box calls in my accumulation that are inscribed to him.  They probably aren't for sale.

He was a GOOD guy !!!    :angel2:

The good Lord ain't made a gobbler I can't kill.  I just gotta be there at the right time.....  on the day he wants to die.

I didn't have any interaction with Hunter 22 but Allaboutshooting was a very Big influencer of my Hevi days.  Clarke Bush, at the time, was doing Tons of patterning and winning awards for his patterning with Hevishot.  Clarke answered several questions for me, personally, that has led me to continue to shoot Hevi 7's in my 835 to this day.  Shortly before his passing, he sold some of his 3" Hevi stock that he had accumulated over the years, to us on OG.  I bought a case for a dollar a shell, gifted a couple boxes to buddies of mine and passed the rest on to an OG member, at the same price I payed for them.  Very caring and thoughtful Man.  Every time I load my gun; I think of HIM! RIP Gentlemen.

Prayers to both families. Heard nothing but great things about both of them. God Bless..

Turkeybutt

Didn't know nor talked with either of them that I can recall, but since they were a part of this group you know they had to be good people. Prayers to their families.

zelmo1

Condolences to both families. Clarke always answered my questions and was a good guy. Z

Greg Massey

Lots of prayers and I think of them both often. They were always willing to help others and we surely miss them.

Tail Feathers

Two good guys, gone too soon.  A tip of the coffee mug to 'em both.   :angel2:

I remember hunter 22 and all the calls he would post. I was always interested to see what he would post next, he was a great contributor to the forum.

I learned a lot reading Rickey's comments about different Call Makers and their work. Also, admired his collection and enjoyed his pictures and sound files. Definitive and entertaining as well.

Both of those men were really good at helping others- I miss seeing the call collection of hunter22 and clark could answer any questions thrown at him about shotguns and loads!!

Brings back so many great memories made right here. Both of them were awesome fellers.  Mr Clark knew his way around shotgun shotgun shooting and reloading. His wife was a great shooter in her own right. This place is loaded up with great folks. I have learned a lot here, and I appreciate y'all.
