Not even sure if he still posts on the forum, but I have an aluminum Osage pot from Chris Brumfiel and that thing sings. I tried it out a few years ago on some public land birds, and they came-a-running.

There are sooooo many other really good builders out there both big name and very small shops Mark Cornelius, Larry Tipton, Jason Powell, Dane Simmons, Paul Durham, Sadler McGraw, Natural Addiction, Roger Parks, Gary Anderson, Kevin Farr, Eddie Wynne, Matt McClain, Ed Jenkins, Cane Creek just to name a few. I guess it depends on which surface you have the most confidence in.
